Dr. Tiara Roberts' Music Credentials
Tiara began professionally playing the violin at age 10 in her grandfather's, Rev. Harry Thomas Morrell, church. During high school she was concert master and studied the violin under a New York Philharmonic violinist. By 17, she was in a professional symphony including many ensembles and studio work. Over the years, she has played with Karen Carpenter, Chet Atkins, Phyllis Diller, Jascha Heifetz and other notable musicians. She has been a solo violinist for years playing weddings in local chapels, churches and gardens.
She plays at country clubs, fine dining establishments, cathedrals, museums, art galleries and hotels. She has also participated in many outdoor events including festivals and the highly esteemed Fort Worth Botanical and Dallas Arboretum gardens.
The genres of music played can include classical, contemporary, pop, folk, rock, spiritual, Celtic, jazz, blues, country, original and others. Professional live music created for your Wedding or event can be made fairly simple by our professionals.
For large weddings or events there will be an acoustic Trace amp with a Zeta violin and for small and/or intimate weddings a fine old violin from one of the most respected violin dealers in the world, Bein and Fushi will be played.
The pleasing tones from these instruments are delightful for even the most sophisticated listener.
